Over the past couple of years two significant court cases have profoundly shaped our thinking; serious failures were identified in how safeguarding concerns were not recognised and escalated. Warning signs were present, yet due to gaps in training, confidence and clarity of procedures, opportunities to intervene were missed. This highlighted that safeguarding is not just about policies on paper but about people having the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to act at the right moment.
Sanara Training was founded in response to that need.
We are dedicated to delivering high-quality training designed to support professionals in all sectors. Our aim is to provide practical and engaging learning experiences with a real-world understanding required to safeguard effectively.

Sanara Training will continue the legacy built by Bal Kaur Howard through BKH Training. For more than two decades, this work has been dedicated to equipping professionals with the skills and confidence needed to support and respond appropriately to victims of abuse.
Our training is flexible and bespoke to meet your specific requirements. Whether you are looking for a concise one-hour overview, a focused workshop, or a fully interactive full-day, we can tailor sessions that suit your needs. Our training can be delivered online or face-to-face, making it accessible for individuals, teams and organisations across a range of sectors.
“Very useful course. As an older person I am very much out of the loop with regards to many internet and societal subcultures, so the overview was invaluable to me. The course presenter was outstanding and delivered the content with great insight and clarity.”
